We visited Tom, Elizabeth, and Hunter in Anchorage this summer.
We flew in on Alaska Airlines.
We visited the historic town of Hope.
We walked to the Exit Glacier on the Kenai Peninsula.
On the way back to Church's house, we saw Dalle sheep.
We next day we took the train to Whitter.
We took the 26 Glacier cruise on a high speed catamaran.
We saw a "bunch" of icebergs!
... and glaciers...
Two girls and a BUNCH of ice...
John and Johnna on the boat.
The "snowy" area in the center of this image is the spray and splash of a small piece of ice "calving" into the Prince William Sound.
Macey took this great picture while we picnicked at Lake Hood's seaplane base.
We saw this Beaver on floats. The lake is the busiest float plane base in the world!
We visited the Alaska Natural Heritage Center. This group performed native dance, telling stories of their culture.
Hunter found the winter entrance into this representative native home.
Then Macey popped up out of the hole!
Tom, Johnna, and Elizabeth on top of Girdwood's peak AFTER dinner about 11 p.m.!
How about the view from our table?
