The whole thing needs to be solid modeled, the fuselage truss modified to the new curve, and a new cowling designed to match it. Les Palmer did it on his, and his cowling is a knock-out. He added 2 inches to the bottom of his firewall for that reason too. When I get my plane done, I'll do down and do this, maybe in preparation for the next one...
