The temp range according to T-88 is above 50 F. The temps here have been around 60 F during the afternoon, but getting down to about 35 F at night. Does anyone have a suggestion on how long the Temp needs to stay above 50 F before using T-88. Does anybody think 4-5 hours would be enough. If not than, I guess i can move the project into the house. If I move the project in doors, how long should I allow the wood to adjust to the new enviroment. ie moisture and temp of the house. Thanks for your response. This should keep the temps warm enough. I would let it cure for 24 hours as warm as you can get it. I have found that T88 takes about 4 days to completely dry when the temps are below 65 degrees. If you don't use the elevated temperature it seems to stay tacky for a long time. When the temps this summer hit 110 in our hanger T88 was dry (hard) in about 18 hours. -- zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz Micheal Mims SP290 (Sky Pig 290) ,..Building Cowling now mailto:mikemims@home.com http://www.geocities.com/CapeCanaveral/Hangar/4136/ Aliso Viejo Ca ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Subject: Motivation at an all time low! From: Mike Mims Date: Tue, 15 Dec 1998 21:14:32 -0800 X-Message-Number: 7 OK netters I come to you seeking motivation! I haven't worked on the Sky Pig in over 2 months and to tell you the truth I still don't feel like working on it! Believe it or not I have actually considered selling it! I doubt that will happen but you never know. I cant explain it but I just flat have no desire to work on it. Could be the cold weather, could be I don't even miss flying all that much, could be a lot of things I guess. then again it sure would be nice to be able to jump in the SP an fly over to visit Jeff Scott. I guess I am at a point where I am tired of building and just want an airplane! All it would take is one last push and I would be taxi testing but that last push is eluding me at the moment. Missing the gathering this year didn't help matters much also the lack of discussion on the net about completion's or at least sub completion's is de-motivating also. So builders what have you done in the last weeks? I have played hockey and attended Lamaze classes. :o) On a positive note the temps are supposed to be up in the 70s this Saturday and I am free until 5:00pm. I will be at the hanger bright and early and I will work on something! :o) -- zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz Micheal Mims SP290 (Sky Pig 290) ,..Building Cowling now mailto:mikemims@home.com http://www.geocities.com/CapeCanaveral/Hangar/4136/ Aliso Viejo Ca ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ --- END OF DIGEST --- You are currently subscribed to kr-net as: johnbou@timberline.com To unsubscribe send a blank email to leave-kr-net-17800J@telelists.com
