What kind off engine is needed ? Personal I think about a servo engine from an radio controlled airplane. Its an push pull servo and gives 25 pound pressere to the trim tab. Is this enough or is the engine too trong. How many pounds is your engine that moves your trim tab???? I put a mic on 5 different needles and they are all the same diameter, .125 inches. The difference in the needles is the angle of the taper on the needle. By changing the angle, fot the same amount of movement of the needle will make it richer or leaner. Number 1 needle being the leanest and number 5 needle being the richest. Hopes this helps. From: "Albert Pecoraro" Date: Wed, 30 Dec 1998 22:41:14 EST X-Message-Number: 10 Netheads, I am in the process of building a web-site to document the construction of my new KR-2S project (finally!). I am developing a map section that will link visitors to KR builders by simply clicking on the state or country. But, before I go ahead and do that I would like to have permission from everyone who would like to have a link from my site. It could include any combination of information you would like "non-KR-Netters" to know such as: - web-site address - e-mail address - street, city, state - phone or fax numbers example: Albert Pecoraro http://www.albert-kr2s.com e-mail: apec97@hotmail.com Kentwood, MI 49508 The above is an example of what I would include for my own information. I do not wish to volunteer my street address nor any phone numbers. By the way, the web-address is fake! ;-) So, if someone clicked on Michigan they would see a list of KR builders in that state and the information they volunteered. I strongly encourage those outside of the US and Canada to participate since it would be an excellent reflection of the international dimension of our network. Thanks and I hope to hear from you soon! Regards, Albert Pecoraro P.S. - In addition to English I know Italian, Spanish, and some French. If you would like to correspond in your native language please do so. ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Subject: Re: Silly Questions (or a deceased equines) From: "R.W. The system was designed for a KR1 and it will fit a KR2 if the spars are the same height. However the system will fit any airplane that has a box type spar. With a small change. Thanks for asking! R. He says that you should use a number 4 needle for the 1600 to 1835 and a number 5 for the 2100 and up.Also on the video he explains why the posa acts differently to throttle settings unlike a carb with a butterfly valve. This is a real informative video and i would be willing to loan out copies to pilots that want to still use a posa if there is any intrest. If so please email me at KRKip @aol.com. PS I use a posa on my KR witha 2100 Revmaster and am very happy with it. Kip ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Subject: Re: Link Permissions ... From: Olga Saunders Date: Thu, 31 Dec 1998 01:00:07 -0500 X-Message-Number: 14 I think this could be a good idea, although I am hesitant to give out my street address. You can include the above E-mail address and my phone number, (301-759-2710). Also that I'm located in Cumberland, Md. I'm building a 2-s, the wood fuselage is complete, the inboard wings with tri-gear is done, and I'm currently sanding foam on the outboard wing sections. The tail pieces are built, setting off to the side, waiting for the outboard wings to get completed. I'm restricted on space and the outboard wings have to be removed to give me room to situate the plane to assemble the tail section.
