I have set the horn at plans location. was wondering if anyone elso had this problem. On the fiberglass issue... I had my turtle deck perfectly faired, when i laid it up i got the overlap and have a uneven joint, even with peel ply ,I still have a good bump. I thought if i sanded a very shalloy depression in the form, the bottom ply will be below the surface where it dose'nt matter and the overlay will be flush on the outside. Any Ideas? Is there a trick to getting the collar on over the fabric braid without fraying it? I was thinking of making some sort of metal cone or something. Hints, tips, or ideas? Thanks. Don't try to push the collar on, just put it on and turn it counter clockwise untill the hose is almost flush with the top. You need a mandrel to put in the rest. Daniel R.
