Message-ID: <20020430211014.5557.qmail@web14005.mail.yahoo.com> Welcome to krnet, Paden, First, let me encourage you to look at Mark Langford's website at: http://fly.hiwaay.net/~langford/kr2s.html It is a good clearing house and has lots of links that will take you to even more great websites on KRs. It also has great pictures of LOTS of KRs. About the best place to see KRs is at the KR Gathering. The next one is at Red Oak, Iowa next Sept. Look on the above webpage for more information. If you can't make that, there are sometimes KRs at the "Golden West" EAA fly-in at Sacramento. There used to be 2 or 3 at Copperstate in Phoenix, but I don't even know if Copperstate will ever happen again. THe important thing is to keep looking. Join your local EAA chapter. You might be surprised to discover that some of them have unfinished KRs in their hangers or garages and are happy to talk to you about them. Yes I am still building in Colorado and am still Vice President of Chapter 301 in Denver. I'm always happy to share info with any builders. This year presents some special challenges to finishing my plane. Long story, short--I enlisted in the Air Force Reserve last year to make some good of my previous 8 years of active duty. On Dec. 14th my unit was activated and I'm currently in Germany pulling TDY. I'm a crew chief on C-130 aircraft. I'll be back in Colorado for a couple of months around the 20th of May. My home station is Peterson AFB so I usually am at my house on weekends or any time I have more than overnight off. Feel free to contact me if you want to visit. I'll be happy to help you. Later!
