Message-ID: Has anyone used platinum plugs in their GPAS 2180 VW motor. I am finding it impossible to find the Bosch w8ac plugs and would like to go to a platinum plug for durablity. I found some cross reference's to Bosch 4214 and Autolite AP425 and NGK 7435 or B6HVX and Denso 4193. these are platinum plugs and my experience with Platinum in automobiles has shown they last 5 times as long. Anybody out there using the platinum? This is not to Pat, but to you clowns who don't bother with antivirus software. I've been sent viruses by an average of 10 computers per day for the last week. I'm tired of it. If you do not care enough about other people to have an UP-TO-DATE antivirus program on your computer, the least you can do is delete my name from your address book so that when they do their dirty work, it won't get sent to me! If you truly care, you'll delete your ENTIRE address book, so that when you get viruses they will have no place to email themselves, sparing your friends and family from continuing to propogate these hateful plagues. The BugBear and KLEZ viruses are unleashed by opening an attachment to a message that appears to come from somebody you know, with a subject "borrowed" from the previous victim's email files, so it looks legitimate. But the return address is usually a fake, with elements of the truth, such as the one that was sent out by some KRnet/CorvAircraft subscriber earlier today, which appeared to come from langford@yebo.co.za . Since both CorvAircrafters and KRnetters got it, that means that the unsuspecting victim is a member of both email lists. If you qualify, you need to take a long look at your computer and make sure that you have antivirus software, and that it is UP-TO-DATE. New computers often come with 90 days worth of "free" virus definition updates. After that, you are hung out to dry. I found one today that was 761 days old! Please, Please, PLEASE go to http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/w32.bugbear@mm.remov al.tool.html and download the fix for this painful virus, and after you're done with that one, visit http://vil.nai.com/vil/stinger/ and run this one too. And after you're done with that, visit http://www.newegg.com/app/viewproduct.asp?description=32-108-115 and buy a brand spanking new copy of Norton Antivirus 2002 Professional for the grand total of FIFTEEN dollars (Free FEDEx shipping) and when you get it, install it. I just bought 11 copies for a small business whose system I maintain, and it arrived 2 days after I ordered it, fully functional and paid up for a year in advance. It's childishly simple to install, and once installed, it automatically updates virus definitions for a year, then notifies you to renew. And even after you have it, don't open any attachment that you don't expect to be coming, no matter WHO it's from! It's just not worth it, unless of course, you really don't care who you inconvenience. I've had the same email address for 9 years, and I must confess that I'm seriously considering changing it. This is just one more reason not to "reply all", because when you do that, you automatically add ME to your address book (with many systems). Please, give me a stinkin' break here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry for the rant, but I've had just about enough.... You guys need to understand that some of these viruses have the ability to spoof the From: field. That means that the virus was not sent by the person in the From: field but his name was inserted there when it left the infected machine. Example, I get infected, the virus propagates itself to everyone (or the first 50) people in my address book and the From: field was filled with someone that was also in my address book. Making the virus that much harder to track. Buy antivirus, its cheap!! __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
