Mark Youkey myoukey@cox.net Oklahoma City ----- Original Message ----- From: "Mark Jones" To: "KR Net" Sent: Wednesday, June 25, 2003 9:58 PM Subject: KR>LED Test Hello all, I did a test on a wide angle 1156 LED light and found very good results. I set the light up 50 inches from a white wall and aimed the light directly at the wall. The pattern was not a spot type pattern like the standard LED lights. The pattern was equally bright on a 120 degree range and was very visible up to 180 degree. When I say bright, I mean it actually hurt to look directly at it. This light has twelve individual LEDs, 10 in a circle and two in the center. I will definitely use this LED light on the rear of my rudder as it will outshine any other lamp I have yet to see on a rudder. The gentleman I bought it from has the wide angle style in white and red only right now. I hope he gets green by the time I do my wing position lights. The part number for the white LED is 1156-W12W and is priced at $9.68 and shipping is $1.95. Not too shabby for a very bright rudder light.
