I am worried about structural integrity. I was thinking about just cutting holes threw the floor, mounting the plates flush with the bottom , mounting the spring then flaring it in with glass. Does anyone see a problem with this? I am committed now, my retracts are removed and packed up for Oshkosh. Ours was bolted with four bolts o= n each bracket, through the gear spring. I would think, that over time, th= at installation will loosen up considerably and cause serious problems. =0D =0D The installation is very nice looking, especially the wheel pants.=0D =0D If you don't want to submerge the spring bar, you can put holes to expose the brackets and fair in the bar, leaving the bolts visible for inspectio= n.=0D =0D N64KR=0D =0D Daniel R.
