The white looks like pure white on the ground, but the pics of flying show it a little different. Did you re-paint it? There is a time for building and a time for flying, and the time for building has long since expired. See N64KR at http://KR-Builder.org - Then click on the pics Daniel R. The one with the background was doctored to add the background, made from the one that was taken from the ground (with blurred tree). I think the plane is really a cream color, which is exactlly what I've been planning to paint mine (still with red bottom). This is the finest flying KR2S picture I've seen yet. I think I have a new screensaver. Maybe we can get some more at the Gathering this year... If you have the TIME, about 5 minutes with a fast machine and DSL, I placed a 19 sec flyby on my web site. It does take time to load. I don't know how to use all the technology to get a smaller file. Anyway if you have time, take a look. The friend filming me, lost me overhead, but it's still exciting, at least for me. (I found it by going to the KRNet page and looking at the list of completed KRs and finding Orma's name. He has a link from his main page to the flight video.) The file is 4 Megs (4,082 kb as reported by Win2000 after I saved it to my hard drive). Download should be more like 1 to 2 minutes with DSL, probably 12 to 15 minutes with 56k dialup. They needed to use a tripod. The video is shaky, but you do get to hear the roar of the engine as he flys by. http://kr-2.aviation-mechanics.com/Flight.htm -- wesley scott kr2@spottedowl.biz > > >Since the net is quite I decided to add some motivation to help us > >finish our projects, and that included me and my engine change. Lee & Netters, If that doesn't serve as motivation to get building, then you should't be.... Nice Clip Lee! Did you fly over the Hydro-plane races last year? I was at the race and thought I saw you depart overhead. ===== Scott Cable KR-2S # 735 Wright City, MO s2cable1@yahoo.com __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Friends. Fun. By the way aviation-mechanics.com has about 300 MB available if someone has a nice small video which is in a compact format, I could be talked into placing it on the web. I'm sure that the mpeg on my site is not the most compact format. I have not seen any one offering to host any video. I have not seen any other flight video's from our KR group posted. I have the space and don't mind using of it.
