This happened to me with Gene Leone. Maybe that is why we don't see all the messages? ------------------------------ Message: 4 Date: Sat, 8 Jan 2005 10:32:03 -0600 From: "Rick Human" Subject: Re: KR> Is a KR1 a LSA? See N64KR at http://KR-Builder.org - Then click on the pics There is a time for building and a time for FLYING and the time for building has expired. Daniel R. Heath - Columbia, SC See you in Mt. To: Message-ID: Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" Howdy folks! I've been hiding, but now I've come out of the garage. I've been building a KR2 in my brother's garage in Summerville, SC, just outside of Charleston, and right now the plane is upside down and I'm foaming the underside of the wings. It's coming along good. Anyways, I was hoping some (or at least one) of you KRers out there would have some of the prefabricated parts that you would like to trade in for some cold, hard cash. Specifically, I'm looking for: Canopy Frame Fwd Deck Fuel Tank VW (Basic) Engine Cowl Also, a VW Engine Mount that attaches directly to the case. Anyone in the market for a VW (Diehl Case) Engine Mount? One or all, I'll welcome whatever you've got. Email me at kyle.gadd@flyi.com and we can work out a good deal for the both of us. Thanks, and blue skies! I hope to fly with you soon. Kyle Gadd ------------------------------ Message: 9 Date: Sat, 8 Jan 2005 22:05:27 -0600 From: "Randy Smith " Subject: Fw: KR> Is a KR1 a LSA? There are a lot of planes that fit into the LSA category. His is a sail plane,It fits. I could be wrong but I think you are going to have a hard time convincing the (friendly) FAA that a KR will fit. There are to many already out there and they have a reputation for speed. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Rick Human" To: "KRnet" Sent: Saturday, January 08, 2005 10:32 AM Subject: Re: KR> Is a KR1 a LSA? > If you ever had to put out >$4k in medical tests to satisfy the FAA > you would know why. > > > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Randy Smith " > To: "gleone" ; "KRnet" > Sent: Friday, January 07, 2005 8:38 PM > Subject: Re: KR> Is a KR1 a LSA? > > >>Why >> build a 160 mph plane down to 130 mph? > > > > _______________________________________ > Search the KRnet Archives at http://www.maddyhome.com/krsrch/index.jsp > to UNsubscribe from KRnet, send a message to KRnet-leave@mylist.net > please see other KRnet info at http://www.krnet.org/info.html > ------------------------------ _______________________________________________ See KRnet list details at http://www.krnet.org/instructions.html End of KRnet Digest, Vol 347, Issue 12 ************************************** ================================== ABC Amber Outlook Converter v4.20 Trial version ==================================
