The easiest fix is to take Larry's advice and secure it with hardware. I used a different method, but then I do most everything a little differently. >Jeff Scott +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Jeff, Sorry to hear you won't make the Gathering this year. I was hoping to get in some formation flight time with you as our KR's are so similar. Please give us a short verbal on how you did your spinner. OBO Why am I selling? I got two KR-2's can't think how to fly them both, and don't want to be greedy. Come take one for a ride and fall in love. I currently have a trike. The main gear is about 3/4 in Al. and am looking to save as much weight as I can. The nose gear is from a BD4, kinda a nice set up..has about 4 inches of travel as a shock. My thought is that if I got rid of the nose gear, the 2x2 AL mounting brackets, the Al mains... and used Diehl's gear, I could drop a bunch of weight and fly a bit faster ( when I am finished) Does anyone have any idea as to how much weight I could save if I went to the fiberglass mains and converted to a tailwheel?
