Don't you have a huge trim tab permanently set on your rudder which will correct center your ball in flight? Maybe I misread what Joe was talking about but if you have no trim tab mounted to your rudder, which I do not, you must keep left rudder input to keep the ball straight. If you have a trim tab mounted to your rudder and have it adjusted properly, then of course you can fly with your feet off the pedals. Did I miss something here? The only trim tab I have is the adjustable pitch trim tab on the elevator. I have a VERY SLIGHT heavy right wing at cruise but just holding my hand on the stick is enough to correct it. More aerodynamically efficient than a 'trim tab'. Of course engine offset will do it to........as you model builders should know..... Back into the old foxhole.....
