They are very long and I don't know how that will affect peformance, good or bad. They will cut your building time and are easy to finish and are for the RAF48. I don't know if they fit the 2S, but I am sure that someone will come forward with that information. See N64KR at http://KRBuilder.org - Then click on the pics See you in Mt. When I open the doors to the hangar, everyone flocks around to see this strange little bird. I get every kind of explicative that you can imagine from dorkey to sleek. The dorkey was just referring to the rudder and came from a retired F-16 jockey. I ran the engine up again to check the carb heat, which passed, and to set the idle stop. I can get a good idle at between 700 and 800 RPM, I hope that is not too high. The mixture control will control the EGT from around 1000 to 1400 degrees, which I think is very acceptable. I never saw the CHT go over 250 degrees and that was with some running at 2500 rpm and some taxiing All of this is with the cowl on. I did not see as much oil leaking today as I did yesterday. We only have to adjust the idle mixture now, and we should be good to go with the engine, even if it is leaking some oil. We will also re-torque the heads just to be on the save side. Also, the fresh air supply works very well even while running the engine and not moving. I don't want to test the heat yet, but maybe Friday, because we are expecting a cold front to come through. 69 degrees and sunny.
