Paypal is just a way to send money, and they're very good at stealing it themselves. If the buyer even hints at the product not being as described Paypal will take the money back from the seller permenantly. I've never heard of the buyer getting his money back, either. -- Steve N205FT mysticz28@swbell.net He who seeks will find, and he who knocks will be let in. ------------------------------ Message: 2 Date: Thu, 17 Feb 2005 20:17:04 -0600 From: "Bubba" Subject: Re: KR> Fw: [barnstormers.com] Re: GlassGauge Air Data Instruments To: "KRnet" Message-ID: <0d1d01c5155f$f18a3450$0200a8c0@Katana> Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed; charset="iso-8859-1"; reply-type=original David Mikesell wrote: > Get used to bubba using you for his wife!!!!!!! Just get all the water out so nothing inside the pump rusts, if there is any steel in there. Tonight, I was using water to avoid the stink of the fuel as I had to be inside. One time I tried the liquid above the pumps and another time I tried it below the pumps. They are described as self priming. I do remember the clacking sound of the pump that I had on my first KR and this does not sound like that at all. I will try the battery tomorrow as this is a cheap charger. Thanks for all the input. I will let you know how it goes. It's tough to say if it's a good thing to have a lifting body or not because as always, it depends on the application... Even nice fairings, like wheel pants and stuff create some lift (sometimes) and thus, drag, but for the most part the parasitic and induced drag from the fairing is less than the parasitic drag if you left them off... It's all relative :-) Matt ===== ------------------------------------------------- Matthew Elder Orangeburg, SC http://www.infinigral.com/melder My Airplane Project: http://kr1.infinigral.com ------------------------------ Message: 6 Date: Thu, 17 Feb 2005 21:21:31 -0600 From: "B. If you look at a wing from above and use this as an area to be measured that is one figure. If you were to look at an airfoil along its axis you would find that in most cases the bottom of the wing has some type of curve involved. If you were to adjust your wing area (let's call it lifting area for now) to incorporate the added length along the bottom half of the airfoil your effective wing area would be increased by that of the curvature on the lower side the chord line of the airfoil. Is this part of the calculation, or are figures being drawn from a 2D Y axis drawing? B. They will probably work fine. The charger supplies half wave AC to charge a DC battery, not solid DC as needed by the pumps.
